This surprisingly modern piece of furniture was originally designed in 1958.its surprisingly modern and simple for something that was designed so long ago. The desk is basically composed of a square steel tube and a glass top. It was designed by Franco Albini who also gave the name of the desk.

The Albini desk is manufactured in Italy by Knoll. The desk features a minimalist design. Its a floating pedestal desk that combines several materials. Its made of glass, chrome-plated steel and painted wood. These materials are combined in such a harmonious way that the transition is extremely smooth and almost unnoticeable.
