Find your style on Pinterest

I pinned this awesome living room yesterday. I would feel at home in that room. It inspired me.

I like it. It is warm and cozy, white but colorful. Comfortable but stylish. All at the same time. That is what I like.

But sometimes when Im browsing Pinterest, I get confused.

Or maybe, I confuse my Pinterest followers with my pins.

Or maybe I just have eclectic taste depending on my mood or what Im looking at. O

It is a well known fact that apartment spaces in New York City can be very difficult to find, either to buy or rent.

When people do find a decent place to live, the apartments can throw nasty surprises in terms of dinginess, ventilation and drab decor. Thus, one gets to see some of the most avant-garde interior decor in New York apartments, like the one decorated by this Brooklyn artist, who covered an entire loft with ping pong balls.

The loft contains a bed to sleep and a place to change clothes, and the minimalist furniture is surrounded by ping pong balls stuck on all the surrounding walls, giving a surreal pixelated look.

I saw this sleek floating shelf/desk — the MAMBA by Victor Vasilev for MDF Italia — on Pinterest the other day, and it struck me as the fantastic version of the space-saving floating desk how-to that Kayla posted earlier. They’re both space-saving and do double-duty as desks or shelves, but MAMBA has a little extra oomph.

The lines are clean and the shape is definitely serpentine , plus there’s a lamp built right into the unit. Genius! If good looks could kill, the MAMBA would be the end of me.
