UK-based company DigiGlass offers custom wall solutions thanks to their high-definition printing technology. The process can replicate virtually any image, and it does so by adding white to CMYK colors in a process called five-colour printing. By adding white and gray ink to optically clear PET window film, DigiGlass can avoid using adhesives or acid etching. The process is part magic—at least that’s how DigiGlass puts it, since the company needs to protect their process.
DigiFrost is a treatment designed for use with glass walls. The technique mimics the look of frosted glass, though the effect is achieved through the nontraditional DigiGlass technology. The product allows architects and interior designers to “dress the walls of public and commercial spaces, inside and out, transforming everything from cafe bars to high street retail stores, banks, airports and museums.” DigiFrost delivers seamless, high-definition graphics to flat glass surfaces.

DigiFrost, like all DigiGlass treatments, offers 99% UV reduction and 16% total solar reduction. By keeping buildings cooler, DigiFrost saves on energy costs while beautifying walls. The PET printing created by DigiGlass is an environmentally friendly polymer that is safe, non-toxic, and recyclable.
